About
All you ever wanted to know about me and my site (okay, not really…)!
Lisa
My name is Lisa (obviously). I’m a twenty one year old Canadian, a Christian and a university student. I live at home with my four younger siblings (two brothers, two sisters) and my parents. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Web Design and Development from American Sentinel University.
I believe that Jesus died for my sins and that I am saved by God’s grace alone.
Aside from school work and spending time with God, I also step dance and piano lessons, and play and coach ringette. I enjoy reading, knitting, web design and development, research, math, baking, and spending time with my family.
lisa-s.ca
lisa-s.ca is my personal blog. I write primarily about my beliefs and what God is teaching me. Other things I enjoy writing about include things that happen in my life, what I am reading and interesting things I find on the Internet. I don’t normally blog on a regular schedule, but rather when I feel like it and can actually write.
I originally started blogging on blogger several years ago, then moved to Xanga (for some strange reason). Following that, I moved to a free webhost and finally purchased my own hosting and domain name in July 2008. There, I hosted my blog on a subdomain (amongstthorns.lisa-s.ca) until I switched to just my domain name.
After planning to switch over for about a year, I finally switched over in November 2009. I created a wordpress theme pretty much from the ground up (as opposed to using a template as I had done in the past) and revamped all my pages as well as the content on them. Finally, I put the finishing touches on my design and launched this site.
