Well, my pictures didn’t turn out hardly at all today for some reason. Most of them were fuzzy, and the one that wasn’t was dark. Funny, but last time I did the Challenge I wore the skirt I wore today and the pictures didn’t turn out either.

Anyway, today I wore a skirt with three different shades of brown and a black short sleeved shirt. Neither are really winter clothing, but they were fine since I wasn’t going outside and I wore a sweater.

I took this picture yesterday, but it’s the sweater I was wearing today. (We got a loft bed and the part underneath has a “window” so my sister and I were taking pictures of us “hanging” out of it.)

For my hair, I didn’t take another picture because I just left it down and wore a soft headband, which you can see in the first picture.

I’d like to thank my sister for taking all the pictures for the Challenge for me (well, except Day 1, I took those myself). I’m not sure if she’ll ever read this, but if she does, “Thank you”.

Today I wore another jean skirt. It’s a bit shorter than the last two, but it’s quite full towards the bottom and very comfortable. I also wore a light blue long sleeved shirt.

I took some pictures outside as well. I’m wearing my winter jacket and a scarf. (Depending on what I’m doing I also wear mitts and or a headband out as well, in the winter. My coat’s a size too big, so I don’t need mitts unless I’m going to be outside for more than 10-15 minutes or it’s really cold.)
The snow’s probably about up to my knees there, but it varies depending on where you are, especially considering it’s been really windy. I’m looking behind me because I heard a vehicle and thought it might have been my mom.

My boots go almost up to my knees, which is high enough to keep my legs warm (actually warmer than with pants), since unless it’s really windy the wind doesn’t go up any higher.

I just did my hair in a basic braid today, except that I pulled it back first so that there’s no part.

A braid is one of my favourite hairstyles for winter because it’s pretty fast to do, and you don’t end up with static-y hair that sticks to everything and everyone.

One of the great things about doing the challenge is that it “forces” me to do my hair nicely in the morning. Normally, I brush it out and it ends up in a not-so-nice-looking bun to keep it out of my face around the house. Then, I have to do something with it (normally I just put it in a ponytail) when I leave the house. It saves a lot of time when it’s already done in the morning. Unfortunately, I have to put it in a braid or a bun now when I go out because it gets really static-y otherwise, but if I style my hair like that it does save time.

Today, I wore a long jean skirt and a light brown top with a fake white layering underneath. It’s not particularly exciting, but it’s warm and nice enough.

It’s the end of the day, and I washed my hair today, so my hair’s kind of poufy and there are lots of “fly-aways”. I did my hair in a ponytail with the same hair accessory I used yesterday. I pulled it through the middle of the elastic part and put a comb in either side.

It’s not the same as the ponytail I did on Day 1 because that was a “normal” one with an elastic, and I think it was higher up.
